Another year, another Malcolm Wilson Rally. With the WRC team M-Sport being based 25 minutes away from us, owner Malcolm Wilson puts on the local rally every year in March. The event has ran every year since 1978 and is a fixed date in our calendar.

The 7 stage gravel rally spread across 3 locations in the county covers a total of 40.65 stage miles. As a spectator though it’s fairly easy to see all the stages. Although there’s a fairly early start of 07:30 on a Saturday morning it’s all done in 1 day finishing at 16:30.

With a mixture of new Fiesta, DS3 and Fabia RS’ along with old MK1 Escort’s, Nova’s and 205 GTi’s there’s certainly something for everyone.

If you every get the chance, we’d highly recommend going to watch, after all it’s not often you get to watch flat out drifting, hand break turns and plenty of roost being thrown around.
