Audi A8 D3 4.2TDI Stage 1+

The Audi A8, 2.5 Ton of German luxury.
We had one round in a bit of a state, Limp Mode was active and the dash was light up like a Christmas tree.
We plugged our dealer level diagnostic in to find that both DPF banks were blocked. We tried to do a forced regeneration of the DPF’s but they were too far gone. The customer wanted a remap anyway so decided to go for a dpf delete aswell. They chose to save a bit of money and remove the physical DPF’s themselves. Whilst they where with us we read the ECU’s
Returning the next day it was time to remap the 4.2TDI V8. Because it’s a V8 it has 2 ECU’s, both need read and our software loaded on.
As you can see the A8 has a Master and Slave ECU, both need our performance software loaded on.
Along with a DPF delete they also wanted the EGR deleted and blanked along with the V-Max limiter removed. The customer assured us that the car would only be used on track and off road.
Now that the issue with the DPF’s had been fixed the car was no longer in limp mode and the dash was as it should be, fault free.
One thing left to do that the customer wanted was to see just how quick we had made the 2.5 Ton barge.

The customer was left very pleased with the results and has since recommended us to other people.
